One of our best sellers in Fez! This Riad with a terrace offering Medina views features traditional carved wooden and plaster arches, Zellige tiles and a central patio. It is a 12-minute walk from the center of the Old Medina of Fes.

Each air-conditioned room is decorated with a tiled floor with Moroccan mosaic and traditional carpets. All include an private bathroom, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and free Wi-Fi.

A continental breakfast can be taken on the furnished patio or in your room. The Riad also provides luggage storage and 24-hour reception.

Dar Mehdi is located a 20-minute walk from the Karaouiyne Mosque. It is a 10-minute drive from Fes Train Station and 12 mi from Fes Airport. Madrasa Bou Inania, famous for its Marinid architecture, is a 10-minute walk.

Perfectly located in the Medina of Fes, close to the main entrance. Great Breakfast on the rooftop, very clean rooms. Best thing still was the friendliness of owner and staff, you feel truly welcomed. A Home away from Home.

Thé best place

Dar Mehdi is a very wonderful and traditional house, it is amazing and calm. I recommend you to choose it when your destination will be to Fes. Mohammed is a very helpful, friendly, sociable, kind and well educated man. Anytime you need help, you find Mohammed ready to with a big smile.

Good location.

Good location.. near important sights. Staff very friendly and personable.. took good care of us.

A little hard to find. It is inside a twisting alleyway in the mist of Médina. Car cannot get in there, so one has to walk in with luggage’s using a offline map to navigate. But that is the way all Riads are like... part of the experience. It is manageable.

Very enjoyable!

The place was cosy,like being at home.The staff were very friendly and accommodating .Mohamed helped us with our luggage a lot.The breakfast was nice , and taken on the rooftop with a great view. We had Moroccan mint tea many times which was on the house.Dar Mehdi also recommended a good guide for our tour of Fes. We would be happy to stay at Dar Mehdi again next time.

I would like to go to this property again.

Decor, hospitality, I found the workers very informative and impartial, they know the area and the sorrounding. They spoke good english and did everything to make use feel comfortable during our stay, and served us a big breakfast, with lots if different types breads, pastries, juices, coffee and tea. Clean bed sheets, towells, room and the toilets/bathroom.

Anyone reading this message pleaste note that: This property is not a 5 star hotel. It is a big local traditional house, guest house or bed and breakfast.

The staff were wonderful upon arrival. They took time to download an online map with all the great spots to check out during our stay in Fes. Dar Mehdi is situated in the heart of the medina and you can conveniently walk to many great restaurants and get lost in the souks.

Very nice and pleasant stay in the Media.

The room was very pleasant. People were very kind and helpfull. Accomodation is in the Medina, but you won't notice it, very quiet. In the surrounding area everything is there you need, shops, restaurants and bars. We loved at the end of the day to sit and have a drink at La Terasse.

The bathroom could have a little update. Some mold in the shower part, no soap holder. That kind of little things.

Recommend, recommend, recommend!

We can't fault this riad. It was comfortable and clean, spacious, nice terrace on the roof, great location, nice breakfast and Mourad went above and beyond to help us out. He arranged a hire car for us through a local car company and held our hand the whole way as we were a little sceptical about hiring a car in Morocco after reading some of the horror stories online.

Fueron muy amables con nosotros, Wafaa fue muy atenta, nos estuvo recomendando sitios para comer y visitar de la ciudad. Cualquier cosa que necesitéis o duda que tengáis Waffa está encantada de ayudarte y es muy sociable, buena conversación con ella acompañada siempre con un té y unas ricas pastas. El desayuno muy exquisito y variado. Si vuelvo a Fez, me alojaría con ellos sin dudarlo

Estancia muy muy agradable

La simpatía de los anfitriones. Nos invitaron a te, y nos facilitaron mediante maps.me los sitios turísticos. Además, por si eso no fuera poco, nosotros reservamos una habitación más pequeña, y como la grande estaba disponible, nos derivaron a esa. El riad es precioso, muy tranquilo, y sirven un desayuno estupendo en la terraza! Recomendable 100%

La estancia perfecta

El trato de Mourad y Ouafae fue excelente. Son atentísimos, hospitalarios y simpáticos y consiguieron que nuestra estancia fuera perfecta. Y tanto el desayuno como las cenas que nos preparó la cocinera fueron deliciosas. La ubicación del Riad es perfecta, justo al lado de los restaurantes turísticos y en el corazón de la Medina, dentro del mismo zoco.

Fantástico!!

Me gusta todo!! Wafa y Murad para empezar maravillosos, atentos serviciales.... , los tes en la terraza cuando quiera, el desayuno, el Dar es precioso sin lujo pero muy especial, esta en el mismo zoco en la zona de mercado de alimentos así q comer sin problemas, en la puerta azul entrada a la medina

Típica casa cerca Puerta Azul.Gente maravillosa. Excelente desayuno y descanso.

Mourad y Wafa al igual que la Sra que hace la linpieza increíbles. Súper amables y hospitalarios. Siempre dispuestos a ayudar y súper simpaticos. 10 puntos!!! Mourad nos fue a recibir a la Puerta Azul y una vez dentro del Dar nos ofreció té de bienvenida y sobre un mapa nos explicó como movernos en la Medina. Genial! Los desayunos típicos riquísimos y abundantes los sirven en la terraza con una vistas muy lindas. Jugo de naranja exprimido Panes calentitos recién hechos. Cama y almohadas cómodas. Se duerme muy bien. Es silencioso. Buena ducha abundante agua caliente. Todo muy limpio. Muy cerca de la Puerta Azul dentro de la medina. A 5 min en taxi de la estación de bus/ tren hasta puerta azul. Expriencia increíble. Volveriamos sin dudarlo!

El baño muy pequeño puede mejorar.

Hospitalidad marroquí y excelente ubicación.

La amabilidad y hospitalidad de Ouafa y Mourad, siempre pendientes de ayudarnos y de hacernos sentir en casa. Ofreciéndonos té de menta y zumo de naranja natural. Excelente ubicación cerca de la Puerta Azul.

No había armario en la habitación. Por suerte era muy amplia.
